Experience Pilates Powered

I teach fun & functional Pilates classes that make you stronger, inside and out. My approach is personalised, inclusive, and rooted in exercise science, making Pilates accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level or background.

True Beginner Classes

I understand that starting a new fitness journey or returning after injury can be daunting, which is why I carefully tailor each class to meet your specific needs. My classes focus on foundational movements and slowly building up your strength and confidence without any fancy tricks or complex routines. I ensure that you progress at a comfortable pace and achieve sustainable results.

Progressing Classes

Your classes will evolve as you get stronger and more confident. I use exercise science to progress your difficulty level:

  • Overload: To improve fitness, the body must be challenged with exercises that are above its current capabilities. My classes incorporate progressive overload, ensuring that you continuously build strength and endurance.

  • Progression: I gradually increase the intensity, duration, and complexity of exercises to ensure steady improvement. This method helps prevent plateaus and keeps you motivated.

  • Specificity: My exercises are designed to target specific muscle groups and movement patterns relevant to everyday activities and your overall fitness goals. This ensures that the benefits of Pilates translate into improved performance in other areas of your life.

  • Variety: To keep things interesting and prevent boredom, I incorporate a variety of exercises and equipment into my classes. This not only enhances motivation but also ensures well-rounded fitness by targeting different muscle groups and engages your mind.

  • Recovery: Adequate recovery is essential for muscle repair and growth. I emphasize the importance of rest and recovery, incorporating restorative exercises and stretching to ensure your body has the time it needs to rejuvenate.
